About the Birdie 170 

The Invacare Birdie 170 is an electric hoist ideal for care homes. The Birdie 170 can lift patients from the floor and has a SWL (Safe Working Load) of 170 kg. The Hoist also includes a 2 point spreader bar, in which slings can be applied too. The Birdie 170 also has an Emergency Lowering System providing extra safety when hoisting a patient.
